LTA prize winners announced…

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) were the proud sponsor of the Nottingham Means Business’ January lunch.

June 2015 is promising to be an exciting month of international tennis for Nottingham with the city hosting the Aegon Open Nottingham – two world class tennis events in the run up to Wimbledon. With over $1million prize money on offer, the week of 8th June 2015 sees a new Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) event featuring many of the top international players, while the week of 22nd June sees a men’s ATP 250 event.

The lunch was attended by the LTA’s Chief Executive Michael Downey who spoke to the hundred strong audience at Trent Bridge.

Speaking after the event Mr Downey commented: “It was a fantastic event and once again we received a warm welcome from the people of Nottingham. It was a great opportunity for us to continue to work with the businesses of Nottingham on our journey in delivering these world-class events.

We can’t deliver these tournaments on our own and we need to partner with the business community, to help shape these tournaments, to become advocates for tennis in Nottingham. We look forward to working together to make next summer a celebration of tennis in this great city.”

A business card prize draw for a pair of tickets to the final of each tournament formed part of the lunch and we are delighted to announce the winners below.
